There is an anecdote that a member of the group believed that he had been cursed by a black magic organization, so he asked Ozzy's father, who worked in sheet metal, to make a metal cross for him and wore it as a talisman. glamb sampled the outline of the cross worn by Ozzy on the inner jacket of "Paranoid" and reconstructed it luxuriously in 925 silver.
