To celebrate Imawano Kiyoshiro's 55th anniversary, glamb has announced a capsule collection that will reconstruct his art pieces. The Kiyoshiro Drummers T-Shirt is a recreation of the oil paintings he left behind using a new printing technique he created for this work. This is a picture featuring one of the "Drummers" he drew in a series in 1996.
The three-dimensional prints that evoke the authentic oil painting are packed with glamb's attention to detail. After placing the pattern on the body using silkscreen, additional prints using special materials are applied to reproduce the unevenness that follows the person's brush strokes. It also has a surface effect that makes it look like you can touch the real thing, and also has a strong presence in terms of looks.
The body is oversized in an American style. The back of the collar is decorated with a stylish gold print that combines the signature and logo design written by the person, adding an anniversary-like atmosphere.
